About the Designer

Leonardo Criolani

After studying architecture at the University of Florence, Leonardo Criolani worked with legendary designers like Poltrona Frau and Gebruder Thonet Vienna.
He spent two years in London to work with Jake Phipps and Mark Gabbertas as well, adterward moving on to developing new products and graphics in Italy.
Criolani is fascinated by everything that surrounds us, new technologies and new materials. Designing, creating, and inventing is his passion and his addiction.

About the Designer

Kino Guerin

In 1998, Kino Guérin won the emerging artist award at the Montreal Craft Show. In 1999, he received the Prix François Houdé awarded by the city of Montréal to highlight the talent of young creative artists. In 2005, the coherence and contemporary quality of his work was honored with the best booth design award at the Montreal Craft Show. He was a 2007 NICHE Awards finalist in the USA. In 2010 he the received “Coup de Coeur” prize at Montreal Design Show. Over the years, Kino Guérin has received several grants from the Quebec Arts Council and the Canada Arts Council. His work is as universally appreciated as is possible, with beautiful designs that defy explanation.

About the Designer

Amit Sturlesi

After graduating from IED Milano in Industrial Design (2005) and working for 4 years in design firms specialising in consumer and medical products, as usual, one thing lead to another and Amit Sturlesi opened his small studio in Tel Aviv in 2009. Taking on diverse projects, he came up with the acryLamp in 2010 as a result of searching for a decorative solution of emergency blackout office corridor lights. 3 years and many prototypes later, the bulb lamp came to life and which also signified the beginning of the illuminite collection.
